Our own Kim Venturato recently returned from a ‘research’ trip to Italy.
Her “mission”, and she happily chose to accept it, was to find the best ideas in the pubs, hotels, cafes of Italy – and to BRING THEM BACK TO TOWNSVILLE!
You may not know it – but Venturato is an Italian name – and bringing the best of Italy back to Townsville can make a da family a verry ahappy. [Insert Godfather voice here].
Hrrrmm. Anyway – one of the ideas that Kim brought back was to FEED PEOPLE who come in to be with friends, have fun, and have a few drinks. Pretty wild idea, ay?
You will start to notice over the next few weeks that the Herbert team will be feeding you. Tonight is the start.
The Townsville Post Full Moon Party will see super pub rock music, fast friendly service, nice people, and a ton of food appearing. You can still eat dinner – or you may be too full. (Remember it is Pizza N’Jug Night as well)
AND – Paul will have the bar team “Supersizing” all tap beer from 5pm. Because we want you to come in and help eat the food…. And listen the music. And have fun. And I have heard rumours of bottles of Yellow Tail Sparkling being chilled for giving to nice people just because the moon is full…

The people who follow them are great. It is a beaut afternoon. [Note for all Reclining Rockers fans - there are rumours of a return - stay tuned!] In the meantime – come and see Home Brew.
