The Herbert Hotel is situated on the corner of Sturt and Stokes street in the central CBD of Townsville.
You are welcomed by Venturato family who have operationg the Hotel since 11th November 1986. [Stand by for news about our 25 Year Anniversary!] First bought by Eddie and Val, the Hotel is now the hands of their children, Paul and Kim- for the last 10 years.
Great things have been happening with regular renovations and upgrades, and constant improvements.
The Herbert is now becoming a truly fashionable inner city Hotel and meeting place. The meals are superb and priced at the low end so you can come in more often. The gaming room is constantly being upgraded with new machines and the Courtyard area is perfect for lunch and live music regularly.

The Herbert Hotel is constantly improving with a new kitchen serving up good old counter meals and daily specials, a relaxing gaming room with 15 machines constantly being upgraded, a spacious beer garden housing some of the best local rock bands on Saturday afternoons, great affordable accommodation right in the centre of Townsville CBD, there’s also have a Cellarbrations bottleshop with heaps of specials on and we’re always making things better!
