As welcoming as the rain is it meant that Alien 8 was unable to play in the beergarden today but they will be back to play again on the 20th of February so hopefully the weather will be better then.
It wasn’t all doom and gloom though at The Hotel Herbert with the drawing of the WIN a VB Bar Fridge competition being drawn so congratulations go out to Mr.Tom Phillips on his win from all the staff at The Herbert Hotel and may many a cold beverage be served from your new VB fridge!!

2010 is a landmark for the Herbert Hotel in Townsville. It marks the Hotels 100th Birthday. The hotel has been around since the late 1800’s, but it was known as the Court House Hotel back when it first opened it’s doors.
The hotel’s name was changed to The Herbert Hotel in 1910. So it has been a great 100 years. We will be doing something this year to celebrate this special milestone and will keep everyone posted as to when it will happen.

We would like to thank all of you that came out on Saturday afternoon to enjoy the great music of “The Reclining Rockers”. It was a huge success and the biggest turn out that we have ever had so bravo! to you all.
We love having awesome bands like the Rockers play here and with the great support of the Townsville community we can continue to have them and other great bands like “Alien 8″ keep on playing here.

This Saturday ‘16/1′ “The Reclining Rockers” will be rocking it out for the new year at The Herbert Hotel in the city heart of Townsville. This legendary local band have a huge following in Townsville and we know that everyone who loves them and rock music in general will be out this weekend to live it up.
